The Ultimate Travel Pant

The Ultimate Travel Pant

Well ladies, I have done it. Crushed the #fashiongoals and found not only the perfect travel pant, but what I am now referring to as “The Buffet Pant”.

I stumbled upon these beauties at the newly renovated Aritzia on Robson, on a weekend where I was supposed to be on the Sunshine Coast with three other mama friends. That was the weekend of the crazy storms, so we decided not to risk being stuck in a cabin with no electricity (and run the risk of having the ferries cancelled), and instead opted for a staycation in our city.

Now what do you think four women with no husbands or kids are going to get up to for a weekend?? 😉 Shopping, food, drinks – check, check, check.

I wasn’t in the market for pants at the time, although the only pair of black cropped pants I had in my closet were not the most comfortable to wear, and in fact, very restricting. I had other things on my wish list, but after walking around the store while the other ladies were in the change room, I began scanning each rack in the store more closely. I typically like to do a hand test, where I run my hands through a rack of clothes to see what materials feel the best. A bit weird, maybe? Obsessive? Who knows, but it works 😉

It was then that I found this lovely little pair of Cohen pants, made from the most luxurious ponte de roma fabric from Italy. They have a slight sheen to them which creates a dressier look, but the feel is similar to a technical fabric, which is where the comfort aspect comes into play. They have ample amounts of stretch, making them literally the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. I have had them now for a couple of weeks, and have already worn them more times than I can count. If you are in the market for a great everyday or travel pant, look no further. The styling combinations are limitless..
