Valentine's Party 1

{Custom Board: Etsy, DIY Queen of My Heart Crown Template: MomsBestNetwork}

As mentioned in my last post, I had the pleasure of hosting my good friend Karmin’s daughter’s first birthday party this past weekend. I have been lucky enough to watch this sweet little angel grow over the last year, and she is constantly making my heart melt. So with a birthday four days after Valentine’s Day, it only made sense to make the first celebration in the theme of hearts. Here are just a few photos (yes a few.. I took almost 75 myself!) of the special day. We put our creative minds to work (along with some inspiration from Pinterest & Etsy of course) to design a memorable event filled with all things pink and ladylike . One of my favourties from the party was the gorgeous ombré rosette cake made by the talented CakeByAnnie. It was hard to watch this beauty be destroyed in a cake smash, but equally as cute watching Em’s reaction to eating sugar for the first time.

    A sweet theme for a sweet girl! Especially like the juxtaposition of the Tutu and High Top Sneakers!
