Fresh Delivery from Fuud

We were recently spoiled with a delivery that couldn’t have arrived at a better time!! I was so happy to come home after a busy day and find a meal kit at our doorstep. Local Vancouver company, Fuud, delivers locally sourced, fresh seasonal meal kits right to your door! All of the ingredients (with the exact amount that is needed, so no waste) along with a recipe card, make it super easy to create a healthy meal. No planning or grocery shopping!! This amazing service was launched to make it convenient to cook, and enjoy the process 😉

Start your plan by selecting your preferred diet – whether that be vegetarian, gluten-free, or omnivore. Choose from the meal options (for either 2 0r 4 people), and the amount of meals you would like to receive each week. You can also select meals based on how challenging the recipes are. I do enjoy cooking, but I will be the first to admit that I am not that good, so I opted for the easy recipes!

My first Fuud meal was a salmon with ricotta and apple kale salad. The contents in the box were pre-measured which made it very easy and sped up the cooking process. I followed the directions carefully while sipping on the complimentary Dageraad beer that Fuud was kind enough to send along with my order.

Within 20 minutes, I had a delicious, healthy meal ready to eat! All the ingredients were so fresh. I even learned a few new techniques along the way (like blanching the kale, then transferring it to ice water to help seal in the nutrients).

These meals have inspired me to try out new ingredients that I wouldn’t typically buy at the grocery store, and challenge myself in the kitchen. I also really love that they source out fresh, local, organic ingredients that are sustainably and ethically produced whenever possible.

If you love to cook, but are short on time, check out Fuud for healthy meal kits that are delivered right to your door!

Thanks for this prepper pantry article good points both pro and con. I”ve always “stocked up as winter approached, but decided to make my own little prepper pantry once I started reading prepping articles. Freeze dried meals CAN be pricey depending on what one gets & how much one needs, but if I can do it on my humble budget anyone can. A little bit at a time is better than nothing at all! Individual ingredients rather than meals works best for my situation (is there anything that can”t be freeze dried? the variety is amazing!) Veggies, fruits, meats, etc. so I can make my own meal pouches (think meals in a jar but put into Mylar bags instead) & have some control over the sodium. Looking forward to the next “Prep of the Week!
