My reality has set in. I officially have two babes at home for summer, and it’s crazy already.

For some who may or may not know, I have two kids + two jobs + a blog (in addition to everything else home life related), sooooooo needless to say, I’m busy. I was used to always having one around, and catching the occasional break if Rex’s afternoon nap aligned with Kingston’s preschool. That was heavenly (in hindsight). It was like having the best of both worlds. I could spend the mornings with the boys, Rex had two naps, then I would have time to work in the afternoons. This is NO MORE. We are down 2.5 hours of preschool, and as of this week, a morning nap as well.

In all honesty, I really do want to enjoy our time this summer as it will be our last before Kingston starts kindergarten in the fall. Lazy mornings, beach days and a whole lot of ice cream sound just heavenly right now. I just need to sort out a better schedule so that I don’t want to rip my hair out. (I can’t afford any more breakage ;-)). So, you are witnessing the new reality. I will probably have a child if not two in at least half of my photos. I will be taking a short hiatus while making the switch to the new blog layout (which I cannot WAIT for you to see!), so excuse me while I disappear momentarily.

For now, I will continue to live in my latest and greatest pieces from Nicole Bridger, because let’s face it, I feel like I am wearing pajamas in summer wear form, and that is just fabulous. You can’t go wrong with some cool summer blues. For those already thinking it in their heads, yes I do like to coordinate most days with my kids 😉 They have the same colours in their wardrobe as I do, so inevitably it’s going to happen almost daily.

I’ll be sharing my next event with you tomorrow, so stay tuned.. xo
